Our History
Klara Agency was founded in 1997. We addressed the market demand which at that time lacked an offer for professional baby sitting. We began to offer our services to foreigners who did not have any grandmothers in Prague to help them with their children. It was our first client, my friend Desirée who encouraged me to establish the agency. We were surprised to find out that the families were not only very much interested in these services but, over the time, they started to need household help. This is why in 1999 we expanded our services by offering a household help. In 2003, we helped to found Dětské Centrum (Preschool) Šalomon Prague 1 where children learn English while playing.
It crossed our minds that babysitting together with a household help actually is what Au-pair is about and this is why in 2000 we successfully expanded our services by offering jobs abroad. Young people travel to almost all European countries to study the language of host countries.
We found out that those young people who had come back home from their successful trips abroad where they had master the language (they spend one year in the foreign language environment, studying at local language schools and obtaining a certificate) are precisely such workers whom each international company appreciates: excellent language skills (spoken and written), self-reliance, ability to solve new situations, directness, communication skills and ability to deal with people – respect toward their superiors, responsibility, ability to fulfill the task within required deadlines. This is why in 2006 we started to offer our students to leading international firms. As of this year, we have been registered as a professional personal agency. We offer high quality services: reliability, confidentiality, success and results. Our reward is the joy of people who have found their jobs and satisfied employers who have obtained good employees.
